Old Sodus Point Lighthouse

This stone Lighthouse Building, with its attached Tower and Fresnel Lens, was completed in 1871 and became the residence of Sodus Lighthouse Keepers for the next 80 years. This same Lighthouse is still preserved in excellent condition, and has been run as a Maritime Museum since 1984.

Cedar Point Lighthouse

This lighthouse was discontinued many years ago and left to disintegrate. The Lantern Room and lens were long gone. It was purchased by the Cedar Point Amusement Park, and restored as the centerpiece of a village of rental cottages.
