Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse Inspection

The following photographs were taken during an inspection and assessment visit of the lighthouse on April 29-30, 2004.

Kitchen on main floor.
equipment room “Equipment” room on main floor. Has original tongue-in-groove boards on walls, floor, and ceiling; currently used as storage area by Coast Guard.
Bathroom on main floor.
One of two main rooms on main floor, as entering from kitchen; door in rear leads to bathroom. These two rooms are carpeted over asbestos tiles and the walls and ceiling are covered with plywood sheets. We discovered that the original tongue-in-groove boards are underneath the plywood.
