2021 Oregon Coast

There is nothing more spectacular than the Oregon Coastline and the Lighthouses are just as spectacular.  Join us for a trip down the west coast of Oregon to see 9 Lighthouses as well as 2 Lighthouses in the southern portion of Washington.  This tour is scheduled to follow the Puget Sound Adventure Tour and for those that are on both, they will be on a bus ride from Seattle to Portland on September 1.  The tour begins on September 3rd with the Welcome Dinner at the hotel.  There will be Museums, a Lightship and a river boat ride.  Please review the itinerary and pictures to get a peek at what you will see.

Day 1 - September 3 - Friday - Arrive in Portland Oregon and Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 - September 4 - Saturday - Start the day with a visit to the Astoria Column.  Then we stop at the Columbia River Maritime Museum and a tour of the Lightship Columbia.  Across the Astoria Bridge to Washington to see Cape Disappoinment Lighthouse and a visit to the Lewis and Clark Interpetive Center.  Then on to North Head Lighthouse.  Then a night stay on the Washington side of the west coast.

Day 3 - September 5 - Sunday - Back acroos the bridge to Ecola State Park to see a distant view of Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.  Next is a stop at the Historic Coast Guard Boathouse.  Then we will have lunch and a tour of the Tillamook Cheese Factory.  Then on to see Cape Meares Lighthouse.

Day 4 - September 6 - Monday - Off to see Yaquina Head Lighthouse and Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. We will have lunch nearby and then the rest of the day you can enjoy the city of Newport for some shopping or exploring.  Dinner on your own.

Day 5 - September 7 - Tuesday -   First stop is to see one of the most picturesque lighthouses, Heceta Head Lighthouse.  Then a stop at the Sea Lion Caves before we go to the hotel in Florence, Oregon.

Day 6 - September 8 - Wednesday - Umpqua River Lighthouse is first today with one of the most beautiful fresnel lenses.  A river boat ride for 4 hours that will include lunch.  Then off to the hotel, relaxation and dinner.

Day 7 - September 9 - Thursday - We start off with a tour of the Port Orford Lifeboat Station and Museum then off to Cape Blanco Lighthouse.  We stop off for box lunchs before seeing Coquille River Lighthouse.  Last lighthouse of the tour is Cape Arago Lighthous then off to Coos Bay or for dinner and hotel.

Day 8 - September 10 - Friday - Stop off at Coos Bay History Museum to see Cape Arago Lens.  Then lunch nearby and then off to Portland with a stop for restrooms.  Arrive at hotel for Farewell Dinner.

Day 9 - September 11 - Saturday - Flights Home
