2021 Door County Tour

Wildflowers, Fish Boils & Lighthouses

Door County is often referred to as the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”. This 70 mile long peninsula packs a concentrated dose of small town Americana, with wineries, cherry orchards, remote wilderness, plenty of beach goodness and some very old lighthouses. So whether you’re a maritime buff, architecture aficionado or just a regular lighthouse nut on the hunt for adventure, pictures and passport stamps, the lighthouses of Door County are a must see.


Day 1 - June 12 - Arrive Green Bay and shuttle to Radisson Inn where we will have our Welcome dinner

Day 2 - June 13 - On the bus to depart for Grassy Island Range Lighthouses and Door county Maritime Museum. On a boat to see Sherwood Point Lighthouse, Sturgeon Bay Canal Lighthouse and Sturgeon Bay North Pierhead Lighthouse. Then on to a wonderful bay Resort, Ellison Bay Rowley's Bay Resort where we will stay for 4 nights.

\Day 3 - June 14 - Depart for a boat ride to see Chamber Island Lighthouse, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse by water and then after lunch we will visit Eagle Bluff Lighthouse for a possible climb.

Day 4 - June 15 - Depart for another boat ride to see St. Martin Lighthouse, Poverty Island Lighthouse and Pilot Lighthouse. As part of this trip we will go ashore on Rock Island to view the Thordarson Estate and walk to Pottawatomie Lighthouse for another climb. After this we get back on the boat for a visit and go ashore to walk to Plum Island Lighthouse.

Day 5 - June 16 - Free Day until dinner which will be storytelling and Fish Boil.

Day 6 - June 17 - We leave the resort and depart for Old Bailey's Harbor Light, then Bailey's Harbor Front & Rear Range Lights. Then on to Cana Island Lighthouse to have lunch and possibly climb. Then off to Algoma Pierhead Light, Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse. A stop at the Lighthouse Gift Shop will complete this day.

Day 7 - June 18 - Board the bus to see Neenah Lighthouse (Kimberly Point). Next is Asylum Point Lighthouse for another possible climb. Lunch is next and then on to Bray's Point (Rockwell) Lighthouse. This afternoon will be full of lighthouses - Fond du Lac Lighthouse, Fisherman's Road Lighthouse, and Calumet Harbor Lighthouse Then back to the Radisson Hotel for Farewell Dinner.

Day 8 - June 19 - Flights home
